Rebecca McLafferty is the author of the Christian romantic suspense novels, Intentional Heirs, Intentional Fires, and a devotion, Devotions for Country Living: Prayer-Enriched Fields. A Wisconsin resident, Rebecca began her writing career by co-creating a writers’ group and hosting annual writing conferences on her alpaca farm.

A member of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW), Rebecca co-created Pens of Praise Christian Writers Group. She belongs to Crossway Communicators and contributes weekly to the Fill My Cup, Lord, Blog.

Married for 51 years, mother of two, grandmother to five, and an Aussiedoodle mom, Rebecca cherishes time to write, read, and enjoy all things country. She teaches writers’ groups, young author, and youth events—even cake decorating and baking classes. Rebecca McLafferty retired from public education, eager to write stories and devotions that glorify God.

She married the love of her life, Joseph, whose Air Force tours enabled European travel before raising two children. Married for 51 years, they treasure five grandchildren.

Rebecca’s country spirit reflects nineteen years in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. After settling in Wisconsin, their alpaca farm became the venue for her annual Country Memories Farm Christian Writers Conference. Attendees benefited from speakers, education sessions, and down-home hospitality.
